Most assuredly you know of poets and wranglers; writers and ropers but how ’bout “pang wanglers?”
The experts define this vintage expression as great optimism in spite of depression.
Referring, of course, to life’s rougher terrains and not as it were, to dark mental strains.
Rawhide and Rosin break out of the chute with a pair of rare talents and one sort of cute.
The men have the gifts, on all bearing strings and the one in the middle just stands there and sings.
Tim plays the fiddle, Bar J Wranglers his history, Vince leads on guitar, his past is a mystery.
Mindi’s the cowgirl, her roots go the deepest, but they keep her around ‘cause she works the cheapest.
A pinch of classic, a hint of hick, a fistful of talent and a whole lot of kick!" Rawhide n' Rosin combines smooth soulful ballads, and energetic bluegrass with jazz, swing, and traditional old-time music for a combination that will appeal to any and all. Audiences are delighted with their polished, professional sound as well as their down to earth personalities and easy-going humor.
Rawhide n' Rosin is made up of longtime requested duo, Vincent & Mindi, and the newest addition, Shelby Murdock.
In 2008 Vince and Mindi received the Western Music Association's Harmony Duo of The Year Award and in 2011 were nominated for the WMA Crescendo Award. The first Two Vince and Mindi CD's "Longing for The Range" & "Where the West Begins" have both spent time in the top 20 play-list charts of the Western Music Association.
