Wildland Firefighter Foundation’s main focus is to help families of firefighters killed in the line of duty and to assist injured firefighters and their families. We honor and acknowledge past, present, and future members of the wildland firefighting community, and partner with private and interagency organizations to bring recognition to wildland firefighters.
"To honor, recognize, and support wildland firefighters, past, present, and future, and to provide resources to assist fallen and injured firefighters and their families."
The Wildland Firefighter Foundation - Teton Chapter's mission is to support the Foundation through the fundraising events the Chapter hosts in the Star Valley, Teton Valley, and Jackson Hole area.
Fortunate to have special guests Patrick Karnahan and Jimmy (banjo player who sang "Into the Fire") perform few a songs during our after event activities. May debut a new ballad, "The Rattlesnake". The Rattlesnake is a song requested by John Maclean to Patrick to write and perform. Patrick Karnahan is also a long time supporter to our event providing prints of his fire setting oil paintings. Patrick will have additional prints available for auction and raffle this year along with original oil paintings that would be available for autographs! We welcome Patrick and Jimmy to our event!
The Wildland Firefighter Foundation is an IRS recongnized 501(c)3 non-profit organization located in Boise, Idaho.
